Rules of the canvas

In effect since September 7, 2026. By paying for a placement you accept these terms.

What you get

ZoomPixel is a shared canvas — 1,000 × 1,000 pixels in each category, and more canvases inside the blocks as you zoom in. Everyone gets one pixel on it for free: you pick the spot yourself, put a colour or an image on it, a name, a short description and a link to your project. Nothing is for sale here and nothing is charged: the canvas is given away, not rented.

A pixel is not property and not a share in anything — it is a place on a picture that belongs to everyone who is on it. You can change what is on your pixel whenever you like, and you can give it up whenever you like.

The free pixel

One pixel on the canvas is free, one per account, and it stays yours with no time limit and nothing to pay or renew. The spot is kept by activity, not by a term: the link on your pixel has to lead somewhere that answers. We check it once a day. If the address stops answering we write to you the same day, and if it is still silent 30 days later the pixel goes back to the canvas for someone else. Fixing or changing the link at any point during those days keeps the spot. Clicks, visits and how popular the pixel is change nothing — a quiet pixel is never taken away.

Content rules

You may not place:

• material prohibited by law, or links to it;
• pornography, violence, or incitement to hatred or war;
• fraud schemes, fake giveaways, phishing, or malicious software;
• someone else's trademarks or logos without the owner's permission;
• images you do not hold the rights to;
• advertising for weapons, drugs, or prescription medicine.

You are responsible for your block's content and for the site it links to. We may remove a block if it violates these rules, or if the link leads to different content than at the time of publication.

Moderation and complaints

Blocks are reviewed after publication. Send a complaint about any block to the email below, stating its X and Y coordinates — we review it within three business days.

Personal data

We store only what the service needs to work: your email (for sign-in and reminders), your block's content and the number of clicks on your link. Nothing is paid for here, so there are no payment or card details at all. We do not sell this data and do not share it with anyone except the mail service that carries the sign-in and reminder letters. Clicks are counted as a total, without profiling visitors. To delete your account and data, write to the email below.

The data controller is the person named under “Contact and data controller” below. Your email and your block's content are processed to provide what you asked for — an account and a placement on the canvas (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)); click counts and abuse checks rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the canvas working and free of fraud (art. 6(1)(f)). We keep your email and your block's content while your account exists, and delete them on request. Decisions about your block are made by a person, never automatically.

You may ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable form — write to the address below and we answer within one month. If you believe we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa).

Service availability

We aim to keep the canvas available around the clock, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. If the site was unavailable for more than a full day in a row due to our fault, we extend the rental term by the number of days lost.
